The Chief Executive Officer, Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operator of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA2), Mr. Christophe Penninck, has pledged the company’s support for initiatives that promote personal development and capacity building among the youths.

He stated this at the Africa Youth Choice Award (AYCA), co-sponsored by Bi-Courtney, which held in Lagos, on Sunday, November 1, 2015.

Penninck noted that promoting capacity building among the youths of any nation is a social service that everyone must embrace, while stressing that the nation could not afford to ignore its teeming youth population.

He encouraged government to put in place deliberate policies and programmes to address the key challenges facing the youths, adding that this is an effective way of tackling youth restiveness and ensuring the long term health of the country.

He promised that Bi-Courtney would always support organisations and individuals that demonstrate ability to do things differently, because the same attitude made it possible for the company to achieve its current position as a trailblazer in the aviation industry and the number one airport terminal in the country.

Penninck added: “Capacity building is one of the cardinal goals of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited. It is one of the things the company has consistently pursued with vigour. We are committed to encouraging ingenuity among the youths. Of course, they are the future assets of the country.”

AYCA encourages and rewards entrepreneurship and excellence among youths/students across various cities and universities in Africa.
