Dana Airline has organised a breast cancer awareness seminar and free screening for terminal users at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Two (MMA2), Lagos.

The initiative was supported by Project Pink Blue, a non-governmental organization and Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited (BASL), operator of MMA2, which provided the venue for the exercise.

The one day event commenced at the conference room of MMA2’s multi-storey car park with a pre-screening lecture, given by a representative of Lakeshore Cancer  Center, Dr. Oge Ilegbune.

The participants, who comprised staff of Dana Airline, BASL and others, were enlightened on the dangers of breast cancer and the importance of early detection. They were also taught how to carry out breast self-examination and advised to practice the exercise at least once every month.
